In order to improve the global learning centers’ ability of using digital teaching resources the project “Chinese Language E-Learning Industries Promotion Project” provides virtual network services and high-quality digital Chinese learning boutique to establish a total teaching solution. By the online synchronized platform, the Institute for Information Industry conducts the series events, “Global Service for Learning Center – Online Conference,” which expects to offer the instantaneous participations for the global learning centers. It will introduce our high-quality digital Chinese language learning services into the international marketing area.

The first online conference was on June 30th. There were 12 principals and teachers from all over the world participated enthusiastically. Participants were from the United States, Canada, Germany, Australia, Philippines and Dominica. The Institute for Information Industry proposed to apply the free online learning platform, MOODLE, and other online applications. The event was successful and joyful. After teaching lesson and Q&A discussions, the global principals and teachers solved the questions about MOODLE platform. Teachers can make a good use of network resources to achieve the digital teaching in the future. Moreover, the principals and teachers were quite satisfied after the Royal Epen’s introduction of the product.  They are also very optimistic to see future cooperation opportunities to improve and enrich the quality of global digital learning centers.

This conference is held via the online synchronized platform. The present bandwidth of the platform which provides by the Institute for Information Industry is 20 Megabyte. Due to the limitation of the network bandwidth, the appropriate number of member is 10-15 in one classroom at the same time. The limitation of participants will avoid the detention of sound and image or the severance condition with each other. Besides, for the different time zones, the Institute for Information Industry also provides the video recording service and the videos after each conference. If some people are unable to participate in time, they may obtain the information by reviewing videos.

The Institute for Information Industry’s Chinese language collaborative service platform achieves the synchronous online courses and companies or industries match service world-wide and successfully. Currently, the online classroom in conference is lead by the Institute for Information Industry, but it will be open to the domestic manufactures or global learning centers in the future.
